At Sydney Student Agency we understand that a young visitor to Australia can benefit enormously from exposure to Australian culture and spoken English in a caring and encouraging family environment. We do everything possible to arrange a personalised and objective match between your students and their Australian hosts based on their mutual interests, lifestyles, educational goals and other requests specified in application forms.
Most of our students rated their homestays as satisfactory, or better. Approximately 5% requested a change of the homestay because of allergies or food restrictions not specified in their homestay applications. Less than 3% requested a second chance at a homestay for a various reasons.
Once a student is happily placed, we monitor the student’s progress in our program so we can promptly and efficiently fix problems when they arise,. We meet with students regularly at school and are available in person every time they need our assistance. We invite students to evaluate their homestay experience, early so that we can review it and make any changes necessary before their departure.
Our staff runs regular personal interviews and program evaluations conducted among our hosts, students, agents and schools.
